Evolution: a Series of 7 Lectures Exploring Our World and
Ourselves
The UA College of Science lectures Spring Semester 2006. All
the sciences, from astronomy to biology, have worked together to
discover the processes that create the current state of our
universe, our world, and ourselves. These evolutionary processes
define the origin of the atoms that make up all matter, the
origin of starts and planets, and the development of life
itself. The University of Arizona College of Science is proud to
present these seven lectures. Each illustrates this vision of
evolution and demonstrates how we know that evolution represents
reality. |

Faculty Fellows Speaker Series
The Speaker Series has highlighted the vast depth and breadth
of knowledge that professors share with their students every day
at the UA. Designed as a forum to share knowledge and the
practical application of research and theory, the Series offers
a sharp snapshot on a given topic, ranging from athletics to the
arts to social issues and sciences. Video for the Series is shot
and edited by KUAT Multimedia for airing on the UA Channel. We
began podcasting the lectures beginning with Fall Semester 2005
's Series. Subscribe to the podcast to watch the most recent
presentations on your computer or video iPod. Spring Semester
