 Graduation Check List
- As you prepare to graduate this term, please make sure to complete all your academic and financial obligations.
- Review and verify completion of all degree requirements with your adviser and college dean's office.
- Apply for degree candidacy by March 30, 2010 in order to have your name listed in the Spring Commencement Program at the Office of the University Registrar in CCIT Room 337.
- Verify your current and permanent home addresses to ensure receipt of time-sensitive degree information and your diploma. Your diploma will be mailed to your permanent home address.
Clear your academic record. Previous incomplete grades must be converted to satisfactory letter grades before you can graduate. Incompletes received in your final term will prevent you from graduating.
- Satisfy all financial obligations (fines, tickets, fees, etc.) with Bursar’s Office located at 888 N. Euclid, Room 105. Outstanding debt will delay release of your diploma and transcript. Make sure to complete the exit interview with the Office for Student Financial Affairs.
- Refer to the commencement website to answer all your questions about commencement. Degree candidates will receive complete information from the Office of the University Registrar.
- Visit the Career Services Center for help with writing your résumé and to consult other career-related materials. Attend a Career Fair, sponsored each term by Career Services, and make full use of the career resources in the SUMC available to all students.
- Attend Grad Fest! Order your academic regalia during Grad Fest March 23 - 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the UA Mall. Graduation announcements, college rings, and more are also available at the University Bookstore. Make arrangements for all your graduation needs!
