Letter from UAAA President Christopher J. Vlahos

Dear future UA alumni,
What an exciting period of your lives! It is my pleasure to officially welcome you to the University of Arizona Alumni Association family. At Commencement, you will be joining a network of more than 220,000 graduates — a richly diverse and global community with a shared experience and pride in our alma mater.
You entered the University of Arizona as Wildcats. Now, as soon-to-be alumni, you are Wildcats for Life. Whatever you do, and wherever you go, you will always be a vital part of this university. As you formally migrate from student to alumni status, I encourage you to never stop being engaged with the U of A.
As alumni, you will have many options available to you for staying connected. Whether you help to recruit future students, serve as a career contact, attend an alumni chapter event in your area, make a financial gift to the University, join fellow graduates at a game-watch party, read Alumnus magazine, or stay up-to-date and speak positively about the University whenever you have the opportunity — do not ever lose your connection to the University of Arizona.
Celebrate the U of A's success. Be a stakeholder in its future. However you choose to stay engaged, always remember that you are a Wildcat for Life. Congratulations and best wishes for your success!
