Experience the unrivaled scenery, magnificent architecture, and epic history of one of Europe’s loveliest regions — the legendary Rhine River Valley. Discover why this scenic pathway has inspired artists and literary luminaries for more than 2,000 years. Travel from the quaint village of Breisach to Beethoven’s birthplace in Bonn, through the fabled Black Forest — including beautiful Lake Titisee — to the streets of Strasbourg. Then, admire the beautiful Alsace French region, traverse the Route du Vin — the Alsatian Wine Road — and experience a tasting at one of the area’s premier vintners. And, visit the quaint village of Obernai along the way. Marvel at the beauty of Heidelberg, home of The Student Prince, and, in Speyer, experience the grandeur of one of the largest medieval churches in Europe. Discover the history of Celtic-Roman Worms and visit the Mainz to see the world-famous Gutenberg Bible (1452-1455). Next, cruise through the dramatic Rhine Gorge and see mythical Loreley Rock. Finally, visit Bonn, and delight in a private Beethoven concert and in a walking tour that includes visiting Beethoven’s home.
