Explore Peru and the Galápagos Islands, where natural and historic treasures await you. Begin your adventure with a walking tour of Lima, including a visit to the cathedral and the San Francisco Monastery. Then fly to Cusco, once the capital of the Inca Empire, and tour the Sacred Valley. Visit the Tambomachay Inca baths — the ancient site of Puca Pucara, and see the Temple of Sacsayhuaman. Next, in the mountain village of Pisac, visit the Inca fortress, Ollantaytambo. Enjoy a train ride through the Urubamba Valley before arriving at mystical Machu Picchu — the Lost City of the Incas. Before leaving Cusco, take in a guided tour of Santo Domingo monastery and enjoy a dinner featuring Andean folkloric music. Next, fly to Quito and see Cotopaxi National Park while riding on the Chiva Express. At Baltra Island, board the M.V. Santa Cruz yacht for four days of touring the Galápagos Islands, including a stop at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Finally, return to Quito for a full day at leisure.

1. arrive in Lima, Peru, and stay at the Melia Lima Hotel.
2. take a Lima city tour.

4. take a train ride to Machu Picchu and stay at the Sumaq Hotel.
5. visit Cusco and stay at the Libertador Hotel.

9. Cotopaxi National Park, and take a Chiva Express ride.

11. cruise the Galápagos Islands.
12. the Galápagos Islands.
13. disembark, return to Quito, and stay at the Hilton Colón.
14. spend a day of leisure in Quito.
15. take a return flight home.
