  1. depart the gateway city for Veracruz. Stay at the Hotel Emporio.
  2. enjoy the Veracruz city tour, tour the Island of San Juan de Ulua, and visit Antigua.
  3. tour the Cempoala Ruins, Xalapa, and Coatepec. Stay at the Posada Coatepec Hotel.
  4. visit Xico and the Texolo waterfalls. Tour the Anthropology Museum in Xalapa.
  5. take a Puebla city tour. Stay at the Hotel Camino Real.
  6. visit the ruins in Cholula, Puebla; and Cacaxtla, Tlaxcala.
