Walk
in the footsteps of freedom fighter Sir William Wallace and trace
the pathways of Prince Charles Edward Stuart on this scenic
adventure showcasing Scotland’s stunning countryside, fascinating
history, and culture! You’ll travel by ferry from Oban to the Isle
of Mull, and its historic 13th-century Duart Castle. After a stop in
the Isle of Skye, you’ll travel along the southwestern shore of Loch
Ness. You’ll learn about ancient Gaelic life, and enjoy a drive
through the scenic Scottish Highlands. Next, admire the charm of the
Slate Islands, and cross the 200-year-old humpback Clachan Bridge to
the Isle of Seil. Then, take a short ferry ride to Easdale Island
and journey through the Trossachs National Park to view the bonnie,
bonnie banks o’ Loch Lomond, and learn about Scottish folk hero Rob
Roy MacGregor. In Stirling, you’ll visit the National Wallace
Monument, dedicated to the Scottish hero William Wallace. Then,
venture to St. Andrews — the home of Scotland’s oldest university
and the world’s oldest golf club — and the important port city of
Dundee. Your Scottish journey concludes with an excursion to
Edinburgh. Stroll the Royal Mile, Old Town, and High Street, and
enjoy a breathtaking tour of the royal Holyrood Park, the Royal
Yacht Britannia, and Edinburgh Castle.
